Mayor, City of Ostrów Mazowiecki

Local government officer, community worker, teacher, sportsman. As a local government councillor of the Ostrów Poviat Council since 2006, Vice-Mayor of Ostrów Mazowiecka since 2010, currently Mayor of Ostrów Mazowiecka since 2014. For many years, he was socially active. In 1989-90, he was chairman of the Independent Students’ Union at the Academy of Physical Education. Graduate of the Warsaw University of Physical Education, the University of Warsaw in geography and administration and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in real estate management. For 20 years he worked as a teacher, including 9 years as the headmaster of a school complex in Ostrów Mazowiecka. Since 1983 he has been associated with the People’s Sports Club OSTROWIANKA as a competitor in the weightlifting section, coach and president of the club. Co-founder of the Ostrów Association “People with Passion”. Initiator of the Ostrów Ornithological Meetings. Married, has three children.
